as an invitation, David Rockwell has created a restaurant perfectly
suited to its theater district address. A series of "proscenium
arches" lead the way to a 85-seat dining area flanked by banks
of spotlights and home to a menu of American brasserie classics to
which international accents have been carefully added. Nestled into
the rear of District, The Mini-Bar, an intimate bar
and lounge, provides a perfect end to an elegant evening, or a suitable
beginning for a more adventurous one.
